Amid deepening challenges in Iraq, New York University Center for Dialogues: Islamic World-U.S.-The West, in cooperation with the World Conference on Religions for Peace, and the Alhakim Foundation, brought together a dozen senior Iraqi religious and other civil society leaders at the United Nations to help forge global partnerships to rebuild Iraqi national consensus and an “Iraq for all Iraqis.” The conference was also attended by members of the diplomatic community, U.S. and other scholars and experts, as well as leaders of non-governmental organizations.
